Meet our Coaches

I have been coaching and teaching at Tartan since 2001. Currently I am teaching Family and Consumer Science. Growing up I played soccer in the local community and here at Tartan. I believe our program should represent respect, dignity, and hard work. Hard work will create opportunity; mistakes will lead to growth; growth is always our goal.

Coach: Seth Tjaden
Hi! My name is Seth Tjaden , grew up in South St. Paul and played soccer for the Packers. I also played in Okinawa, Japan while serving in the Marine Corps. I have coached for Dakota Soccer Club for the past 10 years, and I am looking forward to a new journey at Tartan High School.

JV Coach Huynh is a Tartan Graduate. She will be working at John Glen middle school this year. She coaches for Black Hawks in the off season and will be a great asset to our team.
